25 thousand rupees will be given for taking the injured to the hospital, many big decisions taken in MP cabinet meeting

Indore: The Madhya Pradesh government organized a cabinet meeting at the historic Rajwada in Indore on the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya gave information about the important decisions taken in the meeting. He said that now under the ‘Rahveer Yojana’ in the state, 25 thousand rupees will be given to the person who takes the injured of a road accident to the hospital.

Cabinet Minister Vijayvargiya said that women empowerment is an important agenda of the government. In this direction, on May 31, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a conference of 2 lakh women at Jambori Maidari in Bhopal. Apart from this, it has been decided to provide housing facilities for working women, in which the support of the central government will be received.

The cabinet took several steps to double the income of farmers. The minimum support price (MSP) has been increased to Rs 2400-2500, and the purchase price has been increased to Rs 2600 by giving bonus. It was also told that this year 62 percent more purchases were made as compared to last year and Rs 20 thousand crores were distributed to the farmers. Emphasis is also being laid on promoting agriculture based industries and natural farming. A farmers’ conference will be organized in Narsinghpur from 26 to 28 May.

The inauguration of Indore and Bhopal Metro was announced in the meeting, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Also, Datia and Satna airports will also be inaugurated. Metropolitan Development Authorities will be set up in Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior for the development of cities, whose chairman will be the Chief Minister. Cultural programs will be organized in many cities of the state in the memory of Devi Ahilyabai. Apart from this, Rs 2100 crore has been approved for the establishment of a large cultural center in Omkareshwar.
