Pakistan on Operation Mahadev called the killed terrorists as its citizens, calling them ‘innocent’ Pakistanis

New Delhi: The Indian Army has hunted down the terrorists guilty of the Pahalgam attack after 98 days. The army killed Hashim Musa alias Suleman Shah, the leader of the terrorist gang who killed 26 people in the Baisaran Valley on April 22, in Operation Mahadev on Monday. Operation Mahadev was going on in the outskirts of Srinagar.

Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Suleman Shah is a former commando of the Pakistani Army’s elite unit Special Service Group. Suleman infiltrated India in September 2023 and was involved in terrorist activities in South Kashmir. Two more terrorists have also been killed in this operation.

Pakistan is furious over the killing of 3 terrorists in Operation Mahadev. Pakistan has said that Indian agencies are killing detained Pakistanis in encounters and calling them cross-border terrorists. Pakistan’s government agencies are calling these terrorists ‘innocent’ and ‘innocent Pakistanis’.

In its report, the Pakistani newspaper has quoted Pakistani security sources as saying that, “India is staging fake encounters in the name of Operation Mahadev.” The newspaper has written that, “Indian agencies are preparing to use allegedly innocent Pakistanis, who have been forcibly detained by India, in staged encounters and are calling them terrorists across the border.”

Laughably, the newspaper has not told what a Pakistani citizen was doing with a satellite phone and a cache of weapons in the forests of Kashmir. The army has recovered an M4 carbine rifle, two AK rifles and other weapons from the encounter site.

Pakistan Army spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Chaudhary Sharif has claimed that 723 Pakistani citizens are lodged in Indian jails. But the Pakistani army did not tell how these 723 Pakistani citizens crossed the border and reached the Indian territory. Dawn has quoted sources from Pakistan’s security agencies and written that these detained people can be forced to give statements against Pakistan.

Childish argument of innocent Pakistani
Geo News has made a childish claim and written that to prove the encounter theory, Indian agencies had already released the pictures and weapons of the terrorists.

According to Geo, ISPR had said during one of its briefings that Indian intelligence agencies have detained 56 Pakistanis. But Pakistan has maintained silence on how these Pakistanis reached the Indian border.

Pakistan’s news channel 365 Plus has said in a report that India has now started Operation Mahadev and in the name of this, it is using the ‘innocent’ Pakistanis detained in encounters. This channel has said that India is presenting the operation as a successful military action.

Indian Army officials said that Suleman alias Asif, believed to be the mastermind of the April 22 attack, was surrounded by the army after the army received signals that the satellite phone used by the terrorists in the Pahalgam attack was being used again. After this, the army started ‘Operation Mahadev’.

The other terrorists killed in this operation have been identified as Jibran – who was allegedly involved in the Sonamarg tunnel attack last year – and Hamza Afghani. Let us tell you that 26 tourists were killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22.
