He warned that if the court does not rule in his favour, America will go into a ‘Great Depression like 1929’. Trump said that tariffs have had a positive effect on the US economy. If the radical left court decides against his policies, America will never recover from it.

Effect of tariffs on India
The tariffs imposed by the US have come into effect on India from Thursday. 25 per cent tariff has been imposed extra because India imports oil from Russia. Currently 25 per cent is applicable. 50 per cent will be implemented soon.

Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) President S.C. Ralhan has said that India has already imposed a lot of tariffs, now the imposition of extra tariffs will harm the business. The margins are already very low.

Tariffs imposed on more than 60 countries
The US has imposed tariffs on more than 60 countries. These include countries like the European Union, Japan and South Korea as well as Taiwan, Vietnam and Bangladesh. 20 percent tariff will be imposed on Taiwan, Vietnam and Bangladesh. At the same time, 15 percent tariff will be imposed on imports from EU, Japan and Korea.
