Suryakumar Yadav becomes the No. 1 Indian captain, breaking Rohit Sharma’s record

Suryakumar Yadav has won 37 of his first 46 T20I matches, lost 7, and had 2 draws. Rohit had won 36 of his first 46 matches and lost 10.

Virat Kohli won 29 of his first 46 matches as captain and lost 15. Dhoni won 26, and India lost 19. Suryakumar Yadav has broken the winning record, but now he will be looking to emulate another feat of Rohit Sharma. India won the T20 World Cup in 2024 under Rohit’s captaincy, and now Surya too will be aiming to become a world champion captain.
