
New Delhi: A tragic incident has come to light in Delhi’s Safdarjung area, where Judge Aman Kumar Sharma has committed suicide. His body was found hanging. Upon receiving the information, the police and an FSL team arrived at the scene and have commenced an investigation. Senior police officials are also reaching the spot. According to preliminary information, Judge Aman Sharma took his own life by hanging himself. His residence is located in the Green Park area. As soon as the incident was reported, the Delhi Police rushed to the scene and initiated an inquiry.
Currently, the police are working to ascertain the exact cause of death. Aman Kumar Sharma had joined the Delhi Judicial Service on June 19, 2021. He had completed his legal studies in 2018 at the Symbiosis Law School in Pune. During his tenure, he presided over numerous criminal and civil cases and served as a judge in various courts.
Since October 2025, he had been posted as the full-time Secretary of the North-East District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) at the Karkardooma Courts. Police officials state that, for the time being, there are no indications of any conspiracy or foul play; however, the matter is being investigated from every possible angle. The death of Judge Aman Sharma has cast a pall of gloom over the judicial fraternity. Judges, lawyers, and everyone else associated with the legal community are shocked by his demise.
