Chilling Plot to Murder Dutch Princesses: Europe Shaken by ‘Nazi’ Link

New Delhi: Once again, a plot to assassinate a Dutch princess was being hatched. Preparations were underway to launch attacks against 22-year-old Princess Catharina-Amalia and 20-year-old Princess Alexia. The police have arrested one suspect in connection with this case. Investigators suspect that the accused is inspired by Nazi ideology. However, the true motive behind this conspiracy remains unknown at this time.

According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in The Hague, the suspect is scheduled to appear in court on Monday. The individual was arrested in The Hague back in February. Two axes were recovered from his possession, bearing engravings of the names ‘Alexia’ and ‘Mossad,’ as well as the Nazi-era slogan ‘Sieg Heil.’ Additionally, police discovered a handwritten note in the suspect’s possession. This note featured the names of both princesses alongside the word ‘Bloodbath.’

Previous Plots Against Princess Amalia
The future Dutch Queen, Princess Amalia, has faced threats on multiple occasions in the past. Drug gangs have previously been accused of plotting to kidnap both her and former Prime Minister Mark Rutte. Due to security concerns, she was forced to vacate her student housing in Amsterdam in 2022. Subsequently, she had to take up residence at the royal palace in The Hague.

Princess Amalia has spoken candidly about the hardships imposed by security restrictions. “I miss a normal life—the life of a student,” she said. “Walking the streets and going to the shops.” Her mother, Queen Máxima, has also stated that these threats have had a profound impact on her daughter’s life, noting that she is unable to venture out freely on her own terms.
