The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed that its fighters launched a major attack on a Pakistani security forces convoy in the Khadkocha area of ​​Mastung district. According to the organization, more than 45 Pakistani soldiers were killed and several others injured in the attack.

A statement issued by BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said that the attack was carried out by the organization’s “Fatah Squad.” It was claimed that the targets included buses transporting Pakistani army personnel, their security escorts, and additional military contingents that arrived at the scene later.

The organization stated that a prolonged gun battle ensued between the two sides following the initial attack. The BLA claimed that over 45 soldiers were killed and dozens injured during the operation. The group also indicated that the death toll could rise as the conflict continues.
