“Arvind Khan Kejriwal, Aurangzeb’s favorite…” Why Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa got angry at the AAP chief

New Delhi: Manjinder Singh Sirsa alleged, “AAP leaders in Punjab are deliberately forcing farmers to burn stubble. It’s clearly visible in the video that they’re being forced to do so while hiding their faces. The video shows stubble burning from September to October. AAP members have told those burning stubble to cover their faces. Farmers don’t want to burn stubble, they’re forcing them. They’re upset with the work we’ve been doing in Delhi over the last seven months. Arvind Kejriwal first banned firecrackers to appease a particular group. AAP leaders are constantly advocating on social media not to celebrate Diwali. Diwali isn’t a BJP festival; it’s a Sanatan Hindu festival. I’m surprised the AAP party failed for 10 years. The favorites of Aurangzeb and Akbar are speaking out.”

Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, “If you look at the data consistently, the AQI didn’t make much difference during Diwali. In fact, there’s a 32-point increase when firecrackers were banned. This time, the AQI was 335 before Diwali and 356 after Diwali. Arvind Kejriwal’s government has left behind a 27-year-old disease. Arvind Kejriwal has ruined Delhi. Our government has removed 2.7 million metric tons of garbage, restarted the STP, and brought in thousands of electric buses.”

Sirsa said, “You are deliberately bringing religion into this. All this to appease a particular religion. Since morning, you’ve been cursing people for how they celebrated Diwali, why they celebrated it, and cursing the BJP. This isn’t a BJP festival; it’s a Sanatan festival. You can abuse us, we won’t mind. You’re blaming Diwali to appease one religion.” Aurangzeb’s favorite, Arvind Khan Kejriwal, is trying to appease only one religion.

Sirsa said, “In 2023, the AQI on Diwali was 218, and the next morning it rose to 301, an increase of 83 points. In 2024, the AQI on Diwali was 328, and the next day it rose to 360, a difference of 32 points, despite the firecracker ban and numerous restrictions. But in 2025, when there was no ban on firecrackers, people celebrated Diwali with their faith and tradition, even burning firecrackers. The AQI rose from 345 on Diwali to 356 the next day, an increase of just 11 points. These are data from the SAMEER app. It’s only an 11-point increase, so what’s the problem? If someone is celebrating their festival with faith, what’s wrong with them?”

Sirsa, taking aim at Arvind Kejriwal, said, “If Muslims slaughter goats on the streets on Bakrid, will Kejriwal question that too? Will Kejriwal try to stop the sacrifices on Eid? He won’t. They have looted Delhi even more than the British.”
