Bihar: Uncontrolled truck enters Tejashwi Yadav’s convoy, accident while returning from Madhepura to Patna, 3 security personnel injured

Madhepura. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has narrowly escaped a major accident in Bihar. A truck entered Tejashwi Yadav’s convoy and hit the escort car. In which many young men walking in the security circle were seriously injured.

This accident happened when Tejashwi Yadav stopped to drink tea on the National Highway while returning from Madhepura to Patna at around 1:30 in the night.

Tejashwi had just got off his car with spokesperson Shakti Yadav and some RJD leaders when a speeding truck entered the convoy and hit a vehicle in the convoy.

Three security personnel deployed for security were injured in the accident. Tejashwi Yadav hurriedly rushed them to the nearby Sadar Hospital in Hajipur.

What did Tejashwi Yadav say about the accident?
While talking to the media, Tejashwi Yadav said, ‘When we were returning from a program in Madhepura, we stopped to have tea. While we were stopped, a truck went out of control and hit 2-3 vehicles right in front of me. Our security personnel were standing. The vehicle came over them and 2-3 people were injured. This accident happened just 5 feet away from us. If it had been a little more uncontrolled, it would have come over us too. The administration has stopped the toll ahead and caught that truck. Action should be taken against those who were careless in the incident.’

This incident has also raised questions on the security system. Central and state security agencies will have to seriously review this entire matter so that such accidents can be avoided in the future. The need to strengthen the security system of Tejashwi Yadav and his convoy has become even more clear before the elections.
