BJP Leader, Married to Two Sisters, Dies Upon Returning Home from Shopping with Second Wife

Dhanbad: A sensational case has emerged from the Govindpur police station area in Dhanbad, where Amrit Das—the former District President of the BJP’s SC Morcha (Scheduled Caste Wing)—has died under suspicious circumstances. Following the incident, the family has leveled several serious allegations, while the police have launched a full-scale investigation into the matter. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination.

Dispute Sparked After Visit to Market with One Wife
Villagers state that the day before the incident, Amrit Das had gone to the market with his second wife. This reportedly escalated the domestic dispute within the household. It was shortly after this that the mysterious incident unfolded. Currently, various rumors are circulating in the area, and people are engaging in all sorts of speculation regarding the case.


  • Vishnu Raut, the In-charge of the Govindpur Police Station, stated that the body was recovered under suspicious circumstances; however, no external signs of injury were found on the body. As of now, no written complaint has been filed by anyone. The body has been sent for a post-mortem, and the exact cause of death will only be revealed once the report is received. Currently, the police are investigating the matter from every possible angle.

    Family Alleges: Both Wives Conspired to Kill Him
    The deceased’s mother alleges that Amrit Das was married to two biological sisters and that his relationship with both wives had been strained. The mother and sister of the deceased, Amrit Das, have accused both wives of physical assault and murder. The family members claim that the incident was perpetrated as a result of domestic discord. Furthermore, the deceased’s sister stated, “He was my only brother. The two co-wives got into an argument over some issue. They then began physically assaulting my brother, and together, they killed him.”
