
New Delhi: BJP MLA Shyam Bihari Lal has passed away due to a heart attack. He was the MLA from the Faridpur assembly constituency in Uttar Pradesh. He had celebrated his birthday just yesterday. He suffered a heart attack at the Circuit House and died during treatment today.
It is reported that the MLA was present at a party meeting at the Circuit House in Bareilly. His health deteriorated in the afternoon. He experienced severe chest pain, causing panic among the officers and colleagues present. He was immediately rushed to Medicity Hospital in the city, where he died during treatment. The news of his death has sent a wave of grief across Bareilly district.
Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal was considered a simple and approachable leader. He had a distinct identity in the Faridpur region. He was known for connecting directly with common people and listening to their problems. People are stunned by his death. No one can believe that the MLA, who was seen smiling just yesterday, is no longer with us.
On Friday afternoon, a meeting of Animal Husbandry Minister Dharampal Singh was underway at the Circuit House. Several public representatives and officials were present. During this time, Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal suddenly experienced severe chest pain. Initially, he took it lightly, but his condition worsened rapidly. Those present immediately called for doctors and arranged for an ambulance.
He was immediately taken to Medicity Hospital. Doctors began treatment. It is reported that doctors made all necessary efforts, including CPR, but his condition did not improve. A short while later, doctors confirmed his death. Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal had celebrated his birthday just the day before. On Thursday, his supporters and close associates had wished him well. No one had imagined that such tragic news would be received the very next day. Shyam Bihari Lal was elected as a BJP MLA from the Faridpur assembly constituency for the second consecutive term. He had also served as a professor at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University. He was respected in both the political and academic spheres. University teachers, staff, and students are deeply saddened by his passing. BJP leaders and workers have also expressed their profound grief. People in the Faridpur area are paying their respects at his home and office. Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal is survived by his wife, Manjulata, two daughters, and a son. One of his daughters is employed as a Defence Estates Officer in Bareilly. The family is overwhelmed with sorrow. Several senior leaders and administrative officials from the district visited his residence to offer their condolences.
