Camera in hand, lion in front… PM Modi seen in a different style while doing lion safari in Gir National Park

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reached Gir National Park in Gujarat, was seen in a different style on Monday (3 March). While doing lion safari, PM Modi was holding a camera in his hand and was clicking photos of lions one after the other. PM Modi was riding in an open jeep for the safari.

Actually, PM Modi reached Sasan Gir in Gujarat during ‘World Wildlife Day’. He did lion safari in Gir National Park. This is PM Modi’s first program of Sasan and lion safari after becoming the Prime Minister.

Let us tell you that while being the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he got Sasan a place as a big tourist destination of the world. After the safari, he will chair the Wildlife Board in Singh Sadan of Sasan, which has a total of 47 members. These include Army Chief, members from various states, NGOs, Forest Secretary etc. After this, he will reach Somnath Temple at 12 noon. After visiting there, PM Modi will leave for Delhi from Rajkot at 3 pm.

In fact, PM Modi, while being the CM of Gujarat, had taken big decisions for the development of Sasan Gir, the only home of the Asiatic lions, due to which today lakhs of tourists from the country and abroad come to see the lions in Sasan Gir. Currently, there is a population of lions in an area of ​​​​about 30,000 square kilometers in 53 talukas of 9 districts of Gujarat.

Many efforts made while being the CM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made many efforts for the conservation of Asiatic lions living in Sasan Gir of Gujarat and the overall development of the Gir region. He himself visited the Gir forest area in 2007 and got information about the situation there. After this, he made strenuous efforts for the overall development of the Gir region, conservation of lions and conservation of the wildlife of Gir.
