Crowds gathered in Maha Kumbh, devotees breaking barricades to reach Sangam coast

Prayagraj: A crowd of devotees has gathered in the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Sangam city Prayagraj. Due to this immense crowd, there is a huge jam on the roads of the city. Especially on the Kanpur highway, long queues of vehicles are being seen for several kilometers on both sides. The parking lots are also completely full, due to which people are facing a lot of trouble in parking the vehicles and then finding them.

Lakhs of devotees coming to Maha Kumbh are facing heavy traffic problems. The administration has tried to restrict vehicles to the parking lot to avoid jams, but the parking is completely full. Many devotees have forgotten their vehicles after parking them, making it difficult to find them when they return.

There are also many devotees who left their vehicles in the parking due to the crowd and decided that they would take them later when the crowd would be less. Meanwhile, the traffic system has collapsed in many areas due to vehicles parked on the roadside and thousands of devotees.

Thousands of vehicles are seen parked on the Kanpur-Prayagraj highway. During this, many devotees were seen searching for their vehicles. To avoid the jam, people are moving towards the Maha Kumbh site on foot from the parking lot by e-rickshaws or shuttle buses. The crowd is so huge that devotees were seen jumping the barricades or going towards the bathing site through alternative routes. Some people are also resorting to trolley rickshaws, so that they can somehow reach the Sangam and take a dip of faith.

Many measures have been taken by the administration to keep the traffic smooth, but due to the immense crowd, they are also proving to be insufficient. Devotees have been requested to use only the designated routes and follow the instructions of the administration. This will ensure that no one faces inconvenience in the divine and grand event of Maha Kumbh.
