New Delhi. For the third consecutive day, schools and colleges in the capital Delhi have received bomb threats. These threats have created panic among students, parents and teachers. The special thing is that these threats are being sent through email, due to which Delhi Police and bomb disposal squad have become alert.
Similarly, Scientist Defence College located in North Campus of Delhi University received a threat via email at 7:15 am that RDX has been placed in the college and library and there is a plan to blow up the college with a bomb. The college administration immediately informed the police. The team of fire brigade, bomb squad and dog squad reached the spot and conducted a search operation in the entire college campus.
It is worth noting that a month ago also a bomb threat was given in the same college, when the students were present in the college. This time the college was on vacation, due to which only a few staff and guards were inside. Everyone was evacuated safely.
On July 14 also, Navy School of Chanakyapuri and CRPF School of Dwarka received a bomb call. Every time threats are being given through mail or call, but till now no explosive or suspicious object has been found from any place.
The police is investigating all the threatening mails and trying to find out who sent these mails and why. The continuous threats have alerted the security agencies.
