Dragon is worried about CPEC, China will talk to Balochs itself,,, does not trust Pakistan…

Beijing. For the sake of CPEC i.e. China–Pakistan Economic Corridor, the Dragon itself is planning to talk to Baloch groups. However, nothing has been said officially about this. It is being said that Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has also been contacted in this regard. China has invested more than 60 billion dollars.

A report has quoted top intelligence sources as saying that China is now planning to talk directly to Baloch groups bypassing the Pakistan Army. The reason for this is to make progress in the stalled work of CPEC and to protect the investments made in Balochistan. Actually, China is considering taking this step after the constant threat to CPEC. Baloch rebels have repeatedly attacked important places.

According to the report, sources have confirmed that China wants to directly contact the Baloch groups and give a positive signal to the partners of the BRI i.e. Belt and Road Initiative. According to the report, China is now beginning to feel that the real protectors of Balochistan are the Balochis. It believes that relying on the Pakistani army means broken promises.

China also believes that direct talks will reduce attacks, their personnel will be safe and it will be ensured that minerals can be extracted without any hindrance. According to the report, they also believe that due to this the burden on the Pakistani army will also be reduced and the relationship between the two countries will be strengthened.

Baloch groups do not trust
According to the report, there is a lot of distrust about China among the Baloch groups and it has increased further after the secret talks held in Dubai in the year 2019 ended. It is being said that some factions are ready for talks. While, some are unable to decide about China’s intentions. These groups are divided on issues such as autonomy, sharing of revenue and ending military operations. Now China will have to hold separate talks with each group before formal talks.

The report also said that the Baloch people are also opposing China’s alleged interest in building police posts on CPEC routes. Apart from this, 91 percent of the revenue from Gwadar port goes to China’s account and only a little is left for the local communities. Due to this too, the Baloch people are angry.
