According to Grimes, this nomination has been made to recognize Musk’s continued efforts in support of freedom of expression and his contribution to global peace.

Branko Grimes confirmed the proposal and said, ‘Today the proposal was successfully presented that Elon Musk, who is constantly supporting the fundamental human right of freedom of expression and peace, should be awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize.’ Expressing his gratitude to all those who cooperated in this nomination, he said, ‘Heartfelt thanks to all the co-proposers and colleagues who helped in this challenging project.’
