First meeting of NDA Parliamentary Party after Operation Sindoor, MPs honored PM Modi by garlanding him

New Delhi: The meeting of the BJP-led NDA Parliamentary Party has started in Parliament House. This meeting is being organized in the auditorium of Parliament House. When PM Modi arrived to attend this meeting, NDA MPs welcomed him with the slogan ‘Har Har Mahadev’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. PM Modi was honored by NDA MPs for the success of Operation Sindoor. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh welcomed PM Modi by garlanding him.

In the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting, a resolution was passed on the success of Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev. NDA women MPs sat in the front row. PM Modi will also address the NDA MPs. This meeting of the National Democratic Alliance MPs is taking place after a long time and is the first meeting amid the ongoing deadlock in the current session of Parliament. In his address, PM Modi can also discuss the Tiranga Yatra and the strategy against the opposition. This NDA meeting is also important because the process of filing nomination papers for the post of Vice President of India is starting from August 7.

The BJP-led alliance has to declare its candidate by August 21, which is the last date for filing nominations and the Monsoon Session of Parliament is also ending on the same day. The electoral college for the Vice President election comprises MPs from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, and its current number is 782. If the opposition declares its candidate, the election is set to be held on September 9. This meeting is taking place in the middle of a session of Parliament in which no legislative work has been done so far except for a two-day discussion on the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor. The opposition has been continuously protesting against the special intensive revision of the voter list in Bihar by the Election Commission.
