Although Open Society is an NGO and its alleged purpose is to do good for the people, Soros has been accused of doing many illegal activities under the guise of this NGO. These include serious allegations like regime change, funding of protests, instability in the economy. George Soros’ Open Society has claimed on its website that it has spent $18 billion on its mission. In a 2016 report, Russian news agency Sputnik claimed that the Open Society was plotting against President Putin. Sputnik then claimed that the Open Society was using its money and influence to spread chaos around the world so that it could profit from global instability and implement neoliberal ideas internationally. Due to the controversial role of the Open Society, it is also called the ‘Agent of Chaos’.

In America, where George Soros received the highest civilian honor, many serious allegations were leveled against Soros. Soros had criticized the 2003 Iraq War and donated millions of dollars to the Democratic Party of America, i.e. Biden’s party. Since then, he has been attacked a lot by right-wingers.

He was a strong critic of former US President George Bush. He had announced in 2003 that his aim was to remove George W. Bush from power.
