Golden boy Neeraj Chopra got married, shared photos with bride Himani

New Delhi. India’s star javelin thrower and Olympic gold winner Neeraj Chopra is now married. Neeraj shared some pictures of the wedding on social media on Sunday (January 19) and gave this good news to the fans. He also revealed the name of his wife. Neeraj’s wife’s name is Himani.

Golden boy Neeraj Chopra shared the photo on Instagram and wrote in the caption, ‘Started a new chapter of life with my family.’


He further wrote, ‘I am grateful for every blessing that has brought us together for this moment.’ In the end, Neeraj wrote his and Himani’s name and also put a heart emoji in the middle.

Neeraj Chopra got married very secretly. It is believed that only close people were involved in it. Let us tell you that so far he has won 10 gold and 6 silver in different international athletics events.

Has won gold and silver in Olympics
Neeraj Chopra has consistently brought laurels to the country with his performance. He created history by winning gold in Tokyo Olympics 2020. Apart from this, he won the silver medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics. A year before this, Neeraj had won gold in the 2023 World Athletics Championship.

Neeraj also got Padma Shri award
Neeraj Chopra has also proved his mettle in the Commonwealth Games. He won the gold in the 2018 Commonwealth Games. His personal best throw has been 89.94 meters. Neeraj won the silver medal in the World Athletics Championship 2022.

Neeraj Chopra has also received a lot of respect in the country. He has also been awarded Padma Shri, Vishisht Seva Medal and Param Vishisht Seva Medal. Let us tell you that the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) is an honour given by the Government of India to personnel of all ranks of the armed forces for ‘exceptional service rendered on special orders’.
