How Afan carried out this heinous crime, killed 6 people from grandmother to brother

New Delhi. In a shocking incident in Venjaramoodu near Thiruvananthapuram, a 23-year-old man confessed to the police on Monday that he had killed six people including his 13-year-old brother, 80-year-old grandmother and a woman. The woman is said to be his girlfriend. Afan came to the Venjaramoodu police station in the evening and confessed his crime.

The police said that the man has been identified as Afan and has been admitted to the hospital. Afan had claimed that he had consumed poison. At present, the police is busy finding out the reason for this heinous crime. The police have confirmed the death of five people, while Afan’s mother has been admitted to a private medical college hospital in critical condition. He had also attacked his mother. Two of the deceased were his close relatives.

According to media reports, Affan has told the police that he killed 6 members of the family because they were reluctant to pay off the huge debt he had. However, the police are suspicious of his statement and investigations are being conducted to gather information. His phone and call details are being examined to find out whether the accused is addicted to drugs or not.

It is reported that the accused first killed his 88-year-old grandmother at 3 pm in Pangode. After this, he reached SN Puram, where he killed his 58-year-old maternal uncle Abdul Latif and his wife Shahida Beevi. After this, he came home and killed his mother, 14-year-old brother Afjan and 19-year-old girlfriend Farshana.
