If the Oman meeting fails, the Middle East will erupt! Iran and the US prepare for all-out conflict

New Delhi: The situation in the Middle East remains extremely volatile due to the ongoing standoff between the United States and Iran. Only a few hours remain before the crucial meeting between the US and Iran in Oman, but the armed forces of both countries are already facing off. American media reports claim that US fighter jets have locked onto the secret bunker of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This raises the question: if the Oman meeting fails, will US President Donald Trump order an attack on Khamenei’s bunker?

Meanwhile, the meeting, being mediated by Qatar, Turkey, and Egypt, is expected to discuss Iran’s nuclear and missile programs. The meeting will be hosted by Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi, with Abbas Araghchi representing Iran and Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff representing the US. However, even before the meeting, the US military fleet in the Arabian Sea shot down an Iranian drone. This incident is being seen as both sides demonstrating their military strength and intentions before the meeting. The US has already increased its military presence in the region, while Iran has also conducted missile tests and unveiled a new underground missile center.

‘Very little chance of peace’
It is being reported that the chances of success for this meeting in Oman appear very slim. The main reason for this is the deep disagreement between the two countries regarding the agenda.

The US wants Iran to discuss its missile program along with its nuclear program, but Iran is only willing to talk about the nuclear issue.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has already indicated that a deal is unlikely. The stubborn stance of both countries makes it clear that military options may prevail over diplomacy. Iran Issues Ultimatum
Iran’s Chief of Staff, Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, issued a direct challenge to the United States just before the meeting. Iran not only tested its missiles but also inaugurated a new underground missile center.

Mousavi made it clear that Iran would not discuss its missile program. He warned that even a small mistake by the enemy would give them a free hand to act, and then no American would be safe. Iran claims to have the full capability to “incinerate” the US and its allies.

Khamenei’s Advisor’s Warning
Meanwhile, Ali Akbar Velayati, an advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei, also adopted a tough stance. He said that Iran has no intention of attacking any country, but they stand as a “pillar of resistance” against any foreign enemy like the US and Israel.

Iran has made it clear that it is ready to go to any lengths to protect its sovereignty.

On the other hand, American defense experts believe that Trump’s strategy is currently to exert maximum pressure on Iran to force it to surrender without war.

Trump’s Plan: US President Donald Trump has a detailed military and diplomatic plan ready against Iran. Trump’s ultimate goal may not be just military action, but also to overthrow the Khamenei government in Iran. The US wants to create internal instability by supporting the ongoing protests in Iran. However, the biggest obstacle to this plan is the Iranian army, which stands firmly with Khamenei. If the Oman meeting proves inconclusive, the possibility of an escalation of conflict in the Gulf region in the next few hours cannot be ruled out.
