Israel has turned Gaza into a crematorium, 200 bodies were removed from the rubble in two days; search continues

New Delhi. The 15-month-long war between Israel and Hamas was stopped after a ceasefire on Sunday. Gazans suffered the most in this war that lasted for months. Their loved ones, relatives, homes, hospitals, schools, everything was destroyed. Gaza has become a heap of crematoriums. At least 47 thousand Gazans lost their lives in this war. The Israeli army may have stopped its attack in Gaza, but the signs of destruction are still making Gazans cry. State media said in a statement that 200 bodies have been removed from the rubble in two days. Assessing the damage, the United Nations said that the signs of destruction in Gaza are so deep and extensive that it will cost trillions to remove the rubble and take 21 years.

Meanwhile, Israel’s operation against Hamas in Jenin in the West Bank is still going on. Israel calls Jenin its part and the presence of Hamas as infiltration. In the last two days, 120 people have lost their lives in the operation here. It was not clear how many of the dead were terrorists and how many were civilians. At least 10 Palestinians lost their lives on Wednesday.

200 bodies recovered from the rubble in two days
After the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel that came into effect from Sunday, the civil defense agency and medical staff have recovered about 200 bodies. Gaza’s Education Ministry says about 15,000 school children and 800 people working in the education sector were killed in the war. According to the ministry, 95 percent of educational institutions in Gaza were damaged and 85 percent were closed due to Israeli bombing.

UN report reveals
A damage assessment report released by the United Nations this month states that it could take 21 years to clear the more than 50 million tons of debris left after the Israeli bombing and it could cost up to $1.2 billion.

Israel’s action in South Lebanon too
Meanwhile, the Israeli army’s attack continues despite the ceasefire in Lebanon. According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, the Israeli army has started burning and destroying houses in the village of Taybe. This village is located in the eastern region of the border. Local media outlets have also reported a big explosion in the neighboring village of Kafr Kila, which was heard throughout the area. The Israeli army is carrying out daily attacks in southern Lebanon. Let us tell you that a ceasefire came into effect between Israel and Hezbollah on 27 November.
