‘Kareena and I were in the bedroom when we heard screams…’, Saif revealed story of the night

New Delhi: Mumbai’s Bandra Police has questioned Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in connection with the knife attack. The police have recorded his statement. Saif said that on the night of January 16, he and his wife Kareena Kapoor were in their bedroom on the 11th floor when they heard the screams of their nurse Eliama Philip. Saif said that he caught hold of the attacker and held him. During this time, the attacker stabbed him several times on his back, neck and other places.

In his statement to Mumbai Police, Saif Ali Khan said that when they heard the screams of their nurse Eliama Philip, both of them ran towards Jahangir’s room where Eliama Philip also slept. There they saw a stranger. Jahangir was also crying. Saif said that when the attacker stabbed him, he was badly injured and somehow freed himself, then pushed the attacker back.

Saif Ali Khan told that in the meantime his nurse also took Jahangir out of the room and locked it. Saif told that everyone was in shock and fear that how this man entered the house. The attacker also attacked Philip.

Saif’s friend supported the family in the hospital
At present, actor Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital and he is at his home. After the incident, he was taken to the hospital by an auto driver in an injured condition, where his friend Afsar Zaidi completed the rest of the process in the hospital. Afsar Zaidi is a family friend of Pataudi. On January 16, he got a call from Saif Ali Khan’s family members around 3:30 am to reach Lilavati Hospital, where Saif is being admitted.

Zadi did not go to the hospital with Saif
Afsar Zaidi reached the hospital around 4 am. Let us tell you that Afsar Zaidi did not take Saif to the hospital. He was later called by the family to reach the hospital so that he could complete the admission formalities. An employee took the injured Saif to the hospital. Officer Zaidi said he would not speak to the media as requested by the family, but he provided this information.
