Corona patients have also been confirmed in Gujarat. After a long time, 15 covid positive patients have been found together here. These include 13 cases from Ahmedabad, 1 from Rajkot and 1 from rural areas of Ahmedabad. All these cases are of Omicron, which are raising concerns. However, Dr. Neelam Patel of the Health Department in the state says that these match the cases found abroad. The Health Department has also issued a health advisory, under which people have been advised to wear masks, stay away from public places and take care of cleanliness.

If there is any state in the country at the highest risk, then it is Mumbai. The highest number of active cases have been confirmed here. According to a survey, there are many families in the state where one or the other patient is suffering from cold and cough or has symptoms of flu. But people are shying away from getting tested. Talking about the figures, 132 cases have been registered here since January 2025.

Will there be a lockdown again?
At present, no lockdown has been announced by the central government or the state governments. But some precautionary steps are definitely being taken such as advice to wear masks in crowded areas. Increasing surveillance in schools and public places is mandatory. RT-PCR test recommended on symptoms like fever, cough. Isolation necessary.
