New Delhi. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has once again attacked the Narendra Modi government at the center. This time he has shared a video of US President Donald Trump, in which Trump is seen saying that ‘five fighter planes were shot down’ in the conflict between India and Pakistan. Posting this video, Rahul Gandhi raised the question, ‘Modiji, what is the truth of the five ships? The country has the right to know!’
BJP’s sharp retaliation on Rahul Gandhi’s tweet
The Bharatiya Janata Party has given a strong reaction to this tweet of Rahul Gandhi. BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya questioned Rahul’s intentions and said that Rahul Gandhi’s mentality is like that of an anti-national. Amit Malviya wrote on X-‘Rahul Gandhi’s mentality is that of a traitor. In his statement, Trump neither took the name of India nor said that those five planes belonged to India. Then why did the prince of Congress accept them as belonging to India? Why did he not accept them as belonging to Pakistan? Does he have more sympathy for Pakistan than his own country? The truth is that Pakistan has not yet recovered from Operation Sindoor… but Rahul Gandhi is feeling pain! Whenever the country’s army teaches a lesson to the enemy, then Congress gets irritated. Anti-India is no longer a habit of Congress, it has become its identity. Rahul Gandhi should tell- is he an Indian or a spokesperson of Pakistan?’
President Trump gave a statement in a private dinner
US President Donald Trump claimed during a private dinner on Friday that five fighter planes were shot down during Operation Sindoor. However, he did not tell whether these planes belonged to India or Pakistan. Trump said- ‘Actually, planes were being shot down from the air. Not four or five, but I think five planes were actually shot down.’
What is Operation Sindoor?
Operation Sindoor was a military operation launched by India in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir in April 2025. 26 innocent civilians were killed in this attack. Under this operation, India attacked terrorist structures at nine locations inside Pakistan, including the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke.
India admitted losses, but did not reveal the number
India officially admitted on this matter that some damage has been done, but it was also clearly stated that more important than the number of losses is why it happened. India’s Defense Chief General Anil Chauhan said, ‘The important thing is not that the plane fell, but why it fell.’ He completely rejected Pakistan’s claim of shooting down six planes.
