New Delhi: Mohsin Naqvi, a minister in the Pakistani government, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, and president of the Asian Cricket Council, is being trolled on social media. Several memes of him are also going viral.

Team India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in the final of the Asia Cup 2025. After the final match, Team India refused to accept the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi. Naqvi then acted in a manner that would make anyone shudder.

Indeed, Naqvi took India’s Asia Cup trophy and winners’ medals with him. He decided to take them to his hotel, forcing the Indian players to celebrate on empty dice.

A video has gone viral, showing Mohsin Naqvi on stage to present the Asia Cup trophy to the Indian team, but the Indian players were busy on their phones and completely ignored him.

Indian captain Surya was not one to be left behind, saying after the match, “You all must have seen the big screen saying, ‘We are champions, so victory is essential.’ Now, ‘Champion’ was everywhere.”

The BCCI also questioned Naqvi’s actions and issued a stern warning. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia stated that he would lodge a strong protest against Naqvi at the ICC conference in November.
