MP: Terror conspiracy exposed in Bhopal-Jhalawar, NIA action on Hizb-ut-Tahrir network

Bhopal. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday raided several locations in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and Jhalawar, Rajasthan in a terror conspiracy case linked to the terrorist organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HUT). The action was taken by the NIA as part of the ongoing investigation into the activities of Hizb-ut-Tahrir, which aims to expose the conspiracies spreading instability in the country.

According to the information, NIA teams reached three places in Bhopal and two in Jhalawar, where extensive search operations were conducted. During the search, the agency has seized several digital devices, which have been sent for further forensic investigation. The case is registered under RC-15/2023/NIA/DLI (HUT Bhopal case).

According to the investigating agency, the HUT organization was radicalizing the youth of India, especially the youth of the Muslim community, with the aim of overthrowing the democratic government and establishing an Islamic state based on Sharia law. The purpose of this conspiracy was to spread terror and violence in the country.

The NIA said that the organization was active with the intention of spreading unrest across the country and was trying to incite the youth and turn them towards terrorist activities. At present, the agency is investigating the case and more action is likely in the coming days. The NIA has clarified that this investigation is still going on.
