
Singrauli. A heartbreaking news has come from Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh. Here, a bear attacked the shepherds in the forest, in which two people died on the spot. Both had gone to the forest to graze their cattle, but did not return home. When they did not return till late night, the family members and villagers started searching for them. During this time, the bodies of both were found in the forest. There is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area due to the incident.
According to the agency, the incident is from the forests of Sarai police station area of Singrauli. Here two shepherds had gone to graze goats and cattle near Jamgadi and Khanua villages. During this, a wild bear suddenly attacked them. The deceased have been identified as 40-year-old Ganesh Prasad Vaishya and 41-year-old Hira Shah.
As soon as the incident was reported, Sarai police reached the spot. Station in-charge Jitendra Singh Bhadauria said that both died in a bear attack. The police have sent the bodies for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated. Officials also said that the families of the deceased will be given financial assistance as per government rules.
There is an atmosphere of panic in the village after this incident. Villagers say that the movement of wild animals has increased in the area for some time, due to which people have started fearing to go to the forest. Local people are demanding from the administration that necessary steps should be taken to stop such attacks.
There is frequent movement of wild animals in the forests of Vindhya region of Madhya Pradesh and especially Singrauli district. Wild bears and other wild animals are seen around rural areas every day. Officials have appealed to the people to be cautious while going to the forest.
