MP: Wife murdered for not giving food, told son – I killed your mother

Jabalpur: A shocking incident has come to light in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, where a man murdered his wife for not giving food. The husband had asked for food from his wife, when the wife ignored his words, the accused attacked her with a shovel. The wife injured in this attack died after some time.

The accused has been arrested on the basis of the complaint of the deceased woman’s son. The entire incident took place on Wednesday night in Mandwa Basti of Gorakhpur, where Sushil Yadav came home and asked for food from his wife Rama. When Rama did not give food for a long time, Sushil pushed her in anger. After this, the wife got angry and went to another room. Meanwhile, Sunil picked up a shovel and attacked Rama.

After beating his wife and leaving her in a half-dead condition, the accused Sushil went to another room and slept. On Thursday, he went to Rama during the day. Seeing her unconscious, Sushil understood that she had died. After this, he locked the house in the afternoon and went to his younger son Shubham Yadav’s house and informed him about the murder.

Sushil told his son that he had killed his mother and the body was lying at home. He gave him the keys and said that the house was locked. Shubham did not believe his father at first. He hurriedly reached Raja Mandwa Basti, went to the room and saw that his mother’s body was lying there. After this, Shubham informed the police.

On the basis of the complaint of the accused’s son Shubham, the police have arrested the accused. Gorakhpur police station in-charge Nitin Kamal said that during interrogation, the accused said that he often had arguments with his wife, even on the day of the incident, when he asked her to serve food, she ignored him, due to which he killed her by hitting her with a shovel.
