New Delhi. India’s ambassador to Israel JP Singh, while talking about forming an international coalition against terrorism, said that India’s Operation Sindoor against Pakistan has been ‘stopped’, ‘not over’. He demanded that Islamabad should hand over big terrorists like Hafiz Saeed, Sajid Mir and Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi to India.
The Indian ambassador said that just as America handed over 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack mastermind Tahawwur Hussain Rana to India, Pakistan should do the same.
‘Hit on the basis of religion…’
Referring to the events before India’s attack, JP Singh said in an interview to Israeli TV channel i24 on Monday, “This campaign was initially against terrorist groups in Pakistan.” Referring to the April 22 Pahalgam attack, he said, “The terrorists killed people on the basis of their religion. They asked about people’s religion before killing them and 26 innocent people lost their lives.”
JP Singh stressed, “India’s campaign was against terrorist groups and their infrastructure, to which Pakistan responded by attacking India’s military installations.”
Is the ceasefire continuing and will it be the last thing for India? Answering this question, JP Singh said, “The ceasefire is still continuing, but we have made it clear that ‘Operation Sindoor’ has been stopped, it is not over yet.”
