PM Modi’s post after victory over Pakistan: Operation Sindoor successful on the field as well, India wins

New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has won the Asia Cup title after defeating Pakistan in a thrilling match. Following India’s victory, people are celebrating on social media and congratulating the Indian players. President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have congratulated the Indian team in their own unique ways.

President Draupadi Murmu, congratulating the Indian team, wrote on Instagram, “My heartfelt congratulations to Team India on winning the Asia Cup cricket tournament. The team did not lose a single match in the tournament, maintaining their dominance in the sport. I wish Team India to continue to win with such brilliance in the future.”

‘Operation Sindoor on the Field’
Congratulating the Indian cricket team for their victory, PM Modi wrote on his social media handle X, “Operation Sindoor on the field… The result is the same: India won! Congratulations to our cricketers on the victory.”

In addition to the PM, several political leaders, including Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju, Piyush Goyal, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, and BJP leader Amit Malviya, congratulated the Indian cricket team on their victory.

Congratulating the Indian team, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju wrote on X, “Pakistan was bound to lose, and India will always be the champion. Congratulations to the Indian cricket team on their victory.”

Union Minister and senior BJP leader Piyush Goyal praised the Indian cricket team’s excellent performance, calling the victory historic. He wrote on X, “India’s victory, Tilak. Today, the Indian cricket team won not just the Asia Cup final, but the hearts of every Indian. The tremendous performances of Tilak Verma and Kuldeep Yadav made this victory historic.”

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav congratulated the Indian cricket team on their victory, saying that unity is the foundation of victory. He posted on Instagram, writing, “Unity is the foundation of victory. Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the united players, coaches, supporting staff, and countrymen of the Indian cricket team on winning the Asia Cup!”

BJP leader Amit Malviya also congratulated the Indian team on their victory. He shared a post on Instagram, writing, “India has won the Asia Cup. We have defeated Pakistan three times in the tournament.”

India wins Asia Cup for the 9th time
The Indian cricket team is the most successful team in the history of the Asia Cup, having won the title for the 9th time in 1984, 1988, 1990-91, 1995, 2010, 2016, 2018, 2023, and now 2025. This is the second consecutive white-ball title under Gautam Gambhir’s coaching.
