Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed the mirror not only to Pakistan but also to Donald Trump

May 13, 2025

New Delhi. Pakistan was promoting the ceasefire between India and Pakistan on May 10 as its diplomatic victory. Pakistan kept claiming among its citizens that India had to retreat under global pressure. There was an atmosphere of celebration there after the false claims of Pakistani media and leaders. People were taking out victory processions and bursting crackers. This was definitely very troublesome for India, especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Because there were mixed reactions to the ceasefire in India. Another problem for the Modi government was that BJP supporters and former military officers were also considering it an incomplete action against terrorism. On the other hand, Congress leaders were speaking the language of Pakistan. Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel even said that was this the result of American pressure?

It is clear that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was listening and understanding all this for two days. As is his habit, he notes down everything and responds to it when the time comes. Today, on Monday 12 May, 2 days after the ceasefire, PM Modi in his 20-minute speech to the nation gave such a strong speech on the success of Operation Sindoor and India’s firm stand against terrorism that Pakistan must have been stunned once again. The PM was seen speaking against Pakistan today in a manner that he has not usually been seen like that. He not only warned Pakistan but also gave a message to the world including America that India is not going to tolerate terrorism at any cost.

In today’s speech, the PM did not take the name of US President Donald Trump, but indirectly he also gave a message to the US President that he is not going to listen to anyone on terrorism. Donald Trump, while taking credit for the ceasefire, had tried to weigh India and Pakistan on the same scale. He compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was elected for the third time by the people of India, with Pakistan’s army-dependent PM Shahbaz Sharif, and called both of them great.

As we have generally seen, whether the PM is the leader of the world’s most powerful country Donald Trump or the head of state of an unimportant country, the PM has always retweeted their tweets. If it is about India, then the PM definitely writes something. But the surprising thing was that he neither reposted the US President’s ceasefire statement nor took the trouble of writing anything on it. Not only this, in the last 2 days he neither wrote nor said anything about Pakistan or the war. This was a clear indication that something is going on inside his mind. Its result was seen in his message to the nation today.
PM Modi clearly said that now there will be talks with Pakistan only on terror and POK. Along with this, he also said that Pakistan is a terror factory from where terrorists have been supplied to the whole world. Referring to the 9/11 attacks in America and the London Tube attacks, he said that in these incidents too, terrorists were supplied from Pakistan. Referring to these incidents, he said that India will not tolerate terrorism at any cost. His clear indication was that even if the world remains silent on such incidents, India will go to any extent to take action.

He said that Operation Sindoor has not been postponed, India’s forces are alert. What he meant to say was that if needed, India will repeat the same action again. While saying all this, PM Modi’s facial expression was very stern and his arms were clenched. He said that India is not going to bow down to any nuclear blackmailing. In fact, after the ceasefire, such things came to light that America had convinced India for ceasefire on the condition that Pakistan could use nuclear weapons. Modi, while saluting the Indian army and armed forces, has given a message to America by setting limits for Pakistan.

Modi said that terror and trading, terror and talk cannot go together. This was a direct reply to Trump’s statement in which the American President had tried to show that he would bring about peace between the two countries. In fact, after the ceasefire, Trump had said some things which meant that he was ready to mediate between India and Pakistan regarding Kashmir. Trump had also said that he would trade between the two countries. The things that PM Modi said today were a clear indication that if anyone in the world is thinking of becoming a leader in the matter of Pakistan and its terrorism, then he should not be under any illusion.

The way PM Modi praised the indigenous weapons in India, one of its implications was that India can now protect itself. In fact, this is the first time that indigenous weapons have been used instead of foreign weapons for the success of a campaign like Operation Sindoor. Brahmos missiles have played the most important role in defeating Pakistan. Brahmos has been manufactured in India with the help of Russia. Although PM Modi neither discussed Brahmos nor took the name of Russia, he gave a message to the world that weapons made in India now play a decisive role in war. India is no longer dependent on countries like America for modern weapons.
