
Bikaner, Rajasthan: An army soldier was stabbed to death in the sleeper coach of the Jammu Tawi Express (Sabarmati Express) that arrived in Bikaner late Sunday night. It is reported that the soldier had a dispute with the coach attendants. Following this, a coach attendant attacked the soldier with a knife, seriously injuring him and leading to his death.
According to reports, soldier Jigar Kumar, a resident of Gujarat, was traveling from Firozabad to Bikaner on the Jammu Tawi train. During the dispute, the coach attendant stabbed the soldier. The soldier, seriously injured in the incident, which occurred on a moving train between Lunkaransar and Bikaner, was rushed to the PBM Trauma Center, where he died before arriving.

GRP Inspector Anand Gila stated that the incident occurred on the 2nd. The incident occurred after the train from Firozpur to Sabarmati, Gujarat, departed Lonkan railway station at around 11 p.m. Soldier Jigar Kumar, a resident of Gujarat, had a fight on the train. Following this, an attendant attacked him with a knife, resulting in his death. An attendant has been detained in connection with the stabbing. Further investigation is underway.
Others on the train stated that the soldier had a dispute with the attendants, leading to the knife attack. The soldier, who was seriously injured in the stabbing, died.
