Russia-Ukraine ceasefire: Trump talks to Putin, Zelensky said- ‘If Russia does not stop the killings then…’

New Delhi. Ukraine is waiting for ceasefire… US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks for two hours yesterday regarding Ukraine, which has been waiting for peace for three years. But the result was nothing.

After this long conversation with Putin, US President Trump said that Russia and Ukraine will soon start talks on ceasefire and it is hoped that this war can end.

Trump said in a social media post that this conversation with Putin was excellent. Russia and Ukraine will continue to hold talks to find a solution to this war.

The terms will be discussed between the two sides. Trump also said that Russia wants to do business with the US on a large scale. Once this war is over, there will be trade between the two countries.

What did Putin say?
After a two-hour conversation with Trump, Russian President Putin said that he is ready to draft a peace agreement with Ukraine. But before that the real cause of the conflict has to be eliminated.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that I spoke to US President Trump twice today. I had a one-on-one conversation with Russian President Putin before that with Trump. Even after this conversation, I had a conversation with President Trump. This is a very decisive moment. The world can see whether global leaders are capable of bringing about a ceasefire and whether the peace will be permanent.

Zelensky said that before the bilateral talks, I told President Trump that Ukraine is ready for a complete and unconditional ceasefire. If Russia is not ready to stop the killings, then strict sanctions should be imposed on it. Real peace will come only through sanctions on Russia.

He said that I have also said that Ukraine is ready to talk with Russia in any format. For this, we are considering all possible places like Turkey, Vatican and Switzerland. There is no need to persuade Ukraine, and our representatives are ready to make real decisions.
