Saif Ali Khan attacker found in bushes in Thane, confessed to crime

Mumbai. Mumbai Police has arrested the attacker in the case of attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. Police arrested the main accused Mohammad Aliyan alias Vijay Das (BJ) from Thane. The accused is a resident of West Bengal, whom the police caught from the bushes near the labor camp near Hiranandani Estate in Thane. According to the information, Mohammad Aliyan is the person who entered the house on the night of January 16 and attacked Saif Ali Khan with a knife.

He used to work as a housekeeper in a bar
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Aliyan alias BJ. After being caught, he admitted to the police that he had entered Saif and Kareena’s house and attacked them. The Mumbai Police team arrested him from the Labor Camp area of ​​Thane. The accused used to work as a housekeeping worker at Ricky’s Bar in Thane.

Used a fake name to escape
Officers of Vile Parle police station have succeeded in arresting him. According to official information given by the police, the accused arrested in Thane is the same person who was wanted for the attack on Saif Ali Khan. Now he will be brought to Bandra for questioning.

The attacker gave his false name as ‘Vijay Das’ to avoid being caught. Before the arrest of the attacker, his posters captured in CCTV footage descending the stairs of Saif Ali Khan’s house were put up in Mumbai and nearby places.

A suspect arrested from Chhattisgarh
Earlier on Saturday, a suspect related to the attack was detained from Durg in Chhattisgarh. Police have also detained two people from Mumbai. Both the suspects arrested on Saturday are being interrogated. The Mumbai Police team has also shared a picture of the suspect detained from Durg in Chhattisgarh. His name is said to be Akash.

During interrogation by the local police, he told that he is a resident of Mumbai. Giving information about Akash being taken into custody, a Mumbai Police official said that the Mumbai Police team will reach Durg and interrogate the suspect.

The suspect was taken into custody by the Railway Protection Force in Durg, Chhattisgarh. He was going to Bilaspur when he was taken into custody. According to the Railway Protection Force, a bag has also been found with him on which Fasttrack is written. A similar bag has been seen in the CCTV of Saif’s building and Dadar mobile shop. He was traveling by Gyaneshwari Express. Mumbai Police had received information about the mobile location on the basis of which he has been taken into custody. The suspect Akash was caught from Gyaneshwari Express.

The attack took place on the night of January 16
On the night of January 16, at around 2 o’clock, an unknown person entered Saif Ali Khan’s house, which was seen by the female staff of Saif’s house and they raised an alarm. Hearing the voice, Saif Ali Khan came and there was a scuffle with that person, after which he stabbed the actor. The attacker stabbed Saif 6 times with a knife, due to which he was badly injured. A part of the knife was also stuck near the actor’s spine. Saif Ali Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, where he underwent surgery. Now the actor is out of danger.
