
New Delhi: ICICI Bank’s unit, ICICI Prudential AMC, has made its market debut. Its shares listed on the BSE and NSE at a strong premium, although this is lower than the potential gains indicated in the grey market. While ICICI Prudential shares listed on the National Stock Exchange with a gain of 20.09%, they listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange at a premium of 20.38%.

The ICICI Prudential AMC IPO opened for subscription on December 12 and investors placed bids until December 16. Its shares were listed on the stock market on Friday. The company had set a price band of Rs 2061 to Rs 2165 for this IPO, and the shares listed at Rs 2,600 on the NSE. On the BSE, the company’s shares listed at Rs 2606.20 per share.
Market Cap Reaches This Level After Listing
Following the strong market entry of ICICI Prudential shares, the company’s market capitalization also saw a significant jump, reaching Rs 1,29,552.57 crore. The size of this IPO was Rs 10,603 crore, and the company offered 4,89,72,994 shares for sale under this Offer For Sale issue.

The ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company IPO received a strong response from investors and was subscribed a total of 39.17 times by the last day of subscription. The highest subscription for this issue came from the Qualified Institutional Buyers category, which was 123.67 times. Meanwhile, the issue was subscribed 22.04 times in the NII category and the retail investors’ portion was subscribed 2.53 times.
