
New Delhi. NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore have returned to Earth after 286 days (about 9 months). SpaceX’s Dragon capsule landed in the sea at around 3:30 am Indian time on the coast of Florida. With this landing, the historic space mission ended. This mission was only for 8 days. But it took 9 months. The moment was captured on camera when the capsule successfully landed in the sea.
Let us tell you that both the astronauts had left for only 8 days. But due to technical problems, they had to spend 9 months there. On June 5, 2024, he was sent into space through Boeing’s new Starliner Crew Capsule. Wilmore and Williams spent 286 days in space, which was 278 days longer than originally scheduled.

According to NASA, Sunita Williams and her team completed 900 hours of research. They conducted more than 150 experiments and set a new record – of the woman who spent the most time in space. She spent 62 hours and 9 minutes outside the space station. That is, she did spacewalk 9 times.
