Sushila Karki in action as soon as she took over power in Nepal, FIR against former PM KP Oli

Kathmandu: It has not been even 24 hours since Sushila Karki took over power in Nepal and she has started taking rapid action. An FIR has been registered against former Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli for protesting against the police repression on September 8. The FIR has been registered demanding an investigation against Oli on charges of heinous crime. Seeing the anger of Gen Z, KP Sharma Oli resigned from the post of Prime Minister on September 9. He was sworn in as Prime Minister in July 2024 and had to step down after just one year and two months.
