
New Delhi: The monsoon session of Parliament 2025 is starting from today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his address at the start of the session, ‘Rain is very important for the economy of every family. The country will benefit from it in the coming days. This monsoon session is a proud session for the nation.’
The PM said at the beginning of the session that monsoon is a symbol of innovation and reinvention. According to the news so far, the weather in the country is progressing very well. There are reports of beneficial weather for agriculture. Rain is important in the economy of farmers, the economy of the country, the rural economy and the economy of every family… In the last 10 years, this time there has been 3 times the water storage, which will also benefit the country’s economy in the coming days.
Referring to Operation Sindoor, the PM said, ‘The world saw the power of the Indian Army during Operation Sindoor. Under Operation Sindoor, within 22 minutes, the houses of the masters of the terrorists were razed to the ground. The world has been very attracted towards this new form of Made in India military power. These days, whenever I meet people of the world, the attraction of the world towards the Made in India weapons being made by India is increasing…’
‘The scope of Naxalism and Maoism is decreasing’
The PM said that today our security forces are moving forward with a new confidence and determination to end Naxalism. Today many districts are free from Naxalism. The scope of Maoism and Naxalism is shrinking in the country. We are proud that the Constitution of our country is winning in front of the gun. The zones which were earlier red zones are now becoming green zones for the country and in this session the whole country will listen to this song of pride of the country and will hear it from every MP.
‘Country at the doorstep of the third economy’
Referring to India’s economy, the PM said that earlier we were the 10th largest economy in the world, but now we are going to make it the third economy of the world. India is knocking on the world stage with its power. The PM said, ‘When you all gave us the responsibility in the economic sector in 2014, the country was going through the phase of Fragile Five. Before 2014, we were at number ten in the global economy. Today India is moving at a fast pace towards becoming the third largest economy of the world…’
The PM also said, ‘Before 2014, there was a time in the country when the inflation rate was in double digits. Today, with this rate coming down to about two percent, there has been relief and convenience in the lives of the common people of the country. 25 crore poor people have come out of poverty, which is being appreciated by many institutions of the world…’
