The world’s first AI city will be built in this city…Announcement made at the AI ​​Summit

New Delhi: At the India AI Impact Summit, Bengaluru-based AI infrastructure company Bharat1.AI announced the world’s first AI city. This AI city will be built in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka and known as India’s Silicon Valley. The startup stated that this will be the world’s first AI city. It will first include a 500,000 square foot B1 AI Superpark, an AI research and innovation campus, to be built in Sarajpura, Bengaluru.

AI agents will receive real-life training.
The city’s unique feature will be that AI models will be trained using real-life experiences. To further improve AI, this AI city will house over 10,000 AI researchers and AI innovators from AI startups. The first phase of work will be completed by the end of this year, with the development of the AI ​​Superpark being a priority.

Bharat1.AI states that the primary focus of the first phase will be testing city-scale world models in real-world conditions. Basic intelligence and stress testing will be conducted within this AI city. This AI city will be humanity-centric, teaching AI models human-like behavior. Additionally, it will provide a multi-layered validation system for agentic and physical AI systems to utilize high-quality, multi-modal data. A similar system will be developed for AI validation, similar to the Aadhaar card.

B1 Superpark
Several leading Indian institutions, including IIT Kanpur, SAARC (Safety, Privacy & AI Research Center, IISc), BITS Pilani, iSPIRT Foundation, and IIT Ropar, will collaborate in the B1 Superpark. Researchers, engineers, and start-ups from these institutions will work together to test robotics, autonomous infrastructure, mobility, and human-machine interaction.

The primary objective of building this AI city is to develop high-density compute and simulation capabilities. It will provide internet connectivity at speeds of 400 Gbps. This AI city will take 36 months, or three years, to build. The city will expand beyond the Superpark. This AI city will be developed as a testbed, where AI models will be taught humanity.
