Threat to shoot 25 MPs, including Rahul Gandhi, accused arrested

New Delhi: Police have swiftly detained Raj Singh Amera, who threatened to shoot 25 MPs, including the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. Kota City Police took serious cognizance of the threat made in a video viral on social media and detained the accused. A message issued by Kota City SP Tejaswini Gautam stated that legal proceedings are underway in this matter. The law is supreme. Strict action is certain for any attempt to take the law into one’s own hands.

We have no connection with this – Karni Sena
In the video, Raj Singh Amera identified himself as the Kota divisional in-charge of the Karni Sena. Meanwhile, the Karni Sena stated that it has no connection with this. The account from which the threat was made has been suspended. Amera, a resident of Kota, posted the threat on Instagram.

No matter how much poison the BJP-RSS spreads, this country will follow Gandhi’s path, not Godse’s thinking.”
