Trump’s one offer… and 40 thousand people resigned simultaneously in America

New Delhi: Ever since Donald Trump took oath as the US President, there has been turmoil inside and outside the country. Trump has started an exercise to reduce the number of employees from the federal government. Under this, the buyout offer given by him to the employees has been accepted.
Accepting Trump’s buyout offer, about 40 thousand employees have decided to resign. Actually, the Trump administration had offered federal employees to buyout i.e. to quit the job on their own. For this, time till February 6 was given.

In the email sent by the Personnel Department, the employees working from home were asked to return to the office. These employees will have to work from the office 5 days a week.

In return for the resignation of federal employees from their jobs, the employees will be given eight months’ salary and a fixed allowance. However, the number of these employees resigning is less than the set target.

However, this decision of Trump is also being opposed. Everett Kelly, President of the American Federation of Government Employees Union, expressed his displeasure over this decision and said that those federal employees who do not fit into Trump’s agenda are being pressured to leave their jobs.

Let us tell you that according to government figures, the number of federal employees in America is more than 30 lakhs. It is being said to be the 15th largest workforce in America.
