US-Israel Secret Meeting at the Pentagon: Potential Attack Plan on Iran Discussed

Amidst this tension, a secret meeting took place between the US and Israel at the Pentagon. While the details of the meeting remain shrouded in secrecy, it is certain that Iran was the central topic of discussion. This meeting occurred at a time when Iran has warned that any US attack on Iran would quickly escalate into a regional war.

According to a report, some top military leaders from the US and Israel held closed-door talks at the Pentagon last Friday. The meeting was between US General Dan Ken and the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Armed Forces, Eyal Zamir. According to reports, immediately upon Zamir’s return from Washington, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a series of urgent meetings with the country’s top security officials.

Israeli media reported that these meetings included Defense Minister Israel Katz, Zamir, Mossad chief David Barnea, and other senior officials. Katz’s office confirmed that he met with Zamir to review Israel’s military readiness and preparations for any potential consequences. According to Israeli media reports, US officials are now seriously considering military action against Iran. Earlier reports suggested that Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE had persuaded US President Donald Trump against attacking Iran. However, the possibility of an attack has now increased again.

Khamenei’s Warning
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned on Sunday that if the US starts a war against Iran, the conflict will not be limited to just the two countries but will spread throughout the entire region. According to Fars News Agency, Khamenei made these remarks during a meeting in Tehran. Khamenei said that Iran would not start a war and had no intention of attacking any country, but he warned that “the Iranian people will deliver a crushing response to anyone who tries to attack or harass them.” He emphasized, “The Americans should understand that if a war breaks out, this time it will be a regional war.”

Earlier, US President Donald Trump had said that a large naval fleet, led by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, was heading towards Iran. He had also warned that time was running out for Iran to reach an agreement with the United States.
