Patna: It is being said about Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar that he will not be able to become the Chief Minister this time. His opponents are repeating this thing again and again so that it gets ingrained in the minds of the people, but Janata Dal has made its stand completely clear. The party has clarified that whether JDU comes in first division or third division, Nitish Kumar will remain the Chief Minister.
Maheshwar Hazari is a minister in the JDU-led NDA coalition government. He has also been the Deputy Speaker of Bihar Assembly, and has handled the responsibility of many ministries in the past. He says, “Whether JDU comes in first division or third division, Nitish Kumar will be the CM. Now no matter how, he will become the CM. No one should hesitate about this.”
Tug of war for the CM post before elections in Bihar!
In the past few months, discussions have been going on in Bihar politics about the CM post. Meanwhile, NDA’s ally JDU has put up a big poster outside its party office in Patna, which reads – ’25 to 30, Nitish again.’ This poster was put up in response to the statement of Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini in which he had said that BJP will win the elections in the eastern state (Bihar) under the leadership of Samrat Choudhary.
JDU leaders had said about this poster that this poster and message is proof that “Nitish Magic” still exists. Senior JDU leader Neeraj Kumar had then said in a conversation with the media, “NDA has already decided that the next assembly elections will be fought under the leadership of Nitish ji. That is, he will remain the Chief Minister from 2025 to 2030… that’s all.”
Amit Shah, Samrat Choudhary also clarified their stand on the CM post!
Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar also came in front of the media a few months ago and said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also made it clear that Nitish Kumar will remain the Chief Minister of Bihar even after the assembly elections. State Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary had also then reiterated that the NDA will retain power in Bihar and the next government will be formed under the “leadership of Nitish Kumar”.
With all these statements, JDU wants to indicate that Nitish Kumar’s leadership is fully acceptable in the alliance and the next government will also run under his leadership. Despite all the claims of the opposition parties, the party is completely clear about its chief ministerial candidate.
