71st National Film Awards announced, luck of these films shines, ‘Kathal’ is the best Hindi film

New Delhi: On August 1, one of the most prestigious awards of India, National Awards, was announced. The jury of National Awards submitted the report related to this to the Minister of Information and Broadcasting Department Ashwini Vaishnav and Minister of State Dr. L Murugan. After this, the jury announced the winners in a press conference held for the media at 6 pm. Rani Mukherjee won the Best Actress Award in the National Award, while Shahrukh Khan and Vikrant Massey won the National Award for Best Actor. Apart from this, the film ’12th Fail’ won the Best Feature Film Award.

Rani Mukherjee and Vikrant Massey’s names were leading for Best Actress and Actor. However, in the middle, Shahrukh Khan gave a big surprise to the fans. He has received the National Award for Best Actor for his film ‘Jawan’. This is the first National Award for all three – Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Vikrant Massey. Apart from these three actors, Sanya Malhotra’s film ‘Kathal’ got the award for Best Hindi Film. Ranbir Kapoor starrer director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film ‘Animal’ won awards in the categories of sound design and background score. Apart from this, director Sudipto Sen won the award for Best Direction for Ada Sharma’s film ‘The Kerala Story’. Vicky Kaushal starrer film ‘Sam Bahadur’ got the award for Best Makeup and Costume.
