Washington: US President Donald Trump has once again issued a major statement regarding Iran’s military capabilities. He has claimed that the United States has militarily defeated Iran and has completely dismantled its air defense system. Trump stated that he is currently in talks with other nations to counter Iran, seeking their cooperation in ensuring the security of the Strait of Hormuz.

President Trump remarked, “We are speaking with other countries regarding the security of the Strait of Hormuz, as it is crucial for them as well. China, for instance, sources 90% of its oil supply through this very strait. According to Trump, the United States has targeted Iran’s airfields and air defense systems. He stated, “Iran no longer possesses any air defense systems. We have also targeted their leadership. From a military standpoint, the operation has been remarkable. We have struck Kharg Island.”

Addressing Iran’s overtures for dialogue, Trump said, “They expressed a desire to negotiate, but I do not believe they are ready at this moment. I anticipate they will be ready sometime in the future.” President Trump also cast doubt on Iran’s missile and drone manufacturing capabilities. He asserted that Iran has very few missiles remaining and added, “We are also systematically destroying their capacity to manufacture drones. We are targeting the specific sites where they produce these unmanned aerial vehicles.”
