New Delhi: Apple is soon launching a new, low-budget laptop. Reports suggest the company will launch a non-premium MacBook, targeting budget buyers. This device could launch next month, March. Discussions about Apple’s low-budget MacBook are not new.
The company has been working on this device for a long time, aiming to compete with low-cost Windows laptops. The company is taking a different approach to this laptop. While Apple laptops have previously come in simple colors, these budget MacBooks may be colorful.
MacBook to Launch in March
Reports suggest Apple is planning an event next month where it will launch a budget version of the MacBook. However, it is unknown whether this event will only feature MacBooks or other products.
Speculations suggest that Apple’s new MacBook will cost less than $1,000 (approximately Rs. 90,700). The company is promoting it as the cheapest MacBook. To keep the device’s price low, Apple may use a smartphone-based processor.
Powerful Features
It may feature the A18 Pro processor, which is used in the iPhone 16 Pro series. Additionally, the laptop will come with a smaller display, with a screen size smaller than 13 inches. It will also be available in multiple color options.
The brand may launch these laptops in yellow, light green, blue, pink, classic silver, and dark gray. The company will not compromise on build quality. It will feature an aluminum chassis and may include 8GB of RAM.
It will also offer extended battery life. A USB Type-C port may be provided for charging. However, it will lack some features compared to high-end MacBooks. The company may remove Thunderbolt ports.
