Big revelation in Baba Siddiqui murder case, shooter told why Anmol Bishnoi hatched the conspiracy

New Delhi. A big revelation has been made in the case of murder of Baba Siddiqui, a leader of Nationalist Congress Party. It is reported that the shooter has confessed why the conspiracy to kill Siddiqui was hatched. He has also told the police the name of gangster Anmol Bishnoi. Police have arrested more than 25 accused in this case.

Notorious criminal Anmol Bishnoi had ordered to attack NCP leader Baba Siddiqui over his ‘connection with Dawood Ibrahim and involvement in the 1993 Mumbai blasts’. Shivkumar Gautam, the main shooter accused of attacking Siddiqui, said this in his confession to the police.

Gautam’s confession is part of the chargesheet filed in connection with the October 12 murder of former Maharashtra minister Siddiqui, who was shot dead by three assailants outside his son Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office in Mumbai’s Bandra East area.

Gautam also claimed that he was asked to kill Baba Siddiqui or Zeeshan Siddiqui and was promised Rs 15 lakh in return. He told police that he used to collect scrap in Pune and sell the material to co-accused Harish Kumar Kashyap.

He told police that Kashyap, who runs a scrap shop, had arranged for his stay and during this time he came in contact with Praveen Lonkar and his brother Shubham Lonkar.

Gautam said in his confession, “One day Shubham Lonkar told the shooter that he and his brother work for the Bishnoi gang. In June 2024, Shubham Lonkar (Shubbu) told me and Dharamraj Kashyap (co-shooter) that we could be given Rs 10 to 15 lakh if ​​we worked as per his instructions. When I asked about the work, Shubham told us that we have to kill Baba Siddiqui or his son Zeeshan Siddiqui. But he did not give any further information.’

Promise of giving flat
Mumbai Police has filed a chargesheet in the Siddiqui murder case. According to media reports, the chargesheet states that Siddiqui was killed by a crime syndicate led by Anmol. The accused has told the police about his conversation with Anmol.

According to the Indian Express report, an excerpt from the conversation is, ‘Ram Ram bhai log aap sabko Lawrence bhai ne bhi Ram Ram bolne ke bata hai. Kya hai hai. Aapko ko ek kaam karna karna, have courage. Reiki has to be done near the house in Bandra, rent a house in the same area. After our work is done, each one will get a four wheeler and a flat… Before that I will give 5 lakh rupees in advance. I have to take revenge for my brother. I have to live for my religion…’

According to the report, the police have claimed that this conversation took place on speaker between Shubham Lonkar and Anmol and three more accused were also present at that time. It has been said in the charge sheet that Anmol had planned this murder as revenge for the death of his associate Anuj Thapan.
