Gorakhpur: CM Yogi Adityanath made a shocking disclosure at the inauguration program of 177 projects in Gorakhpur. He told that local BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan has built a house over the drain in Ramgarh Tal area. The Chief Minister said that we had already said that there should be no construction on the way of drainage, otherwise there will be trouble. The machine catches where the house is built over the drain.

Gorakhpur became an example of cleanliness
Through this program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the entire team of Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation, which gave Gorakhpur the fourth position in the cleanliness survey of the country. He said, three years ago this city was at number 74. Today it is at number four, and now our competition is to come in the top-3.

The Chief Minister explained in detail the changed picture of Gorakhpur in his speech. He said, there was a time when Gorakhpur was infamous for mosquitoes, mafias, dirt and traffic jams. Now this city is becoming a symbol of cleanliness and development. He further said that the citizens have given full cooperation in the widening of roads, drainage system, and public construction works. When the road was being widened in the city, no one protested. People said that the development of the city is more important than my house or shop.

Healthy competition among councilors and committees
Chief Minister Yogi said that now is the time for healthy competition regarding cleanliness in every ward. The councilors and committees who will keep their area clean will be given annual honor and special incentives. Some councilors were also honored from the stage in the program. He also said that citizens will have to change their behavior.

Throw the peel on the road and it gets captured in the camera
The Chief Minister said that it should not be known that Kalibari Baba and Ravi Kishan are walking together. They are eating bananas and throwing them on the road. You must have often seen the actions of these people. Now everything is visible through CCTV cameras. Now this cannot be hidden. Improvement in habits is necessary.

New Gorakhpur with technology
The CM said that innovations like Urban Flood Management Center, sensor technology and modern drainage system have now been implemented in Gorakhpur. The Chief Minister said that these arrangements will now ensure that there is no illegal construction on the drains, and if there is a situation of waterlogging or jam, it can be traced and resolved immediately. He also clarified that now transparency and efficiency is increasing with the help of technology in development works, and due to this, any kind of negligence will not be ignored. Be it a common citizen or a public representative.

Step towards developed India
The Chief Minister mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s developed India vision of 2047 and said that cities like Gorakhpur can play an important role in it. The country develops only when cleanliness, health, technology and citizen participation move forward together.
