China Angered by Indiscriminate Drone and Missile Attacks in Gulf Nations; Delivers Major Blow to Ally Iran!

New Delhi: Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, China has issued a strong reaction regarding the attacks being carried out against Gulf nations. It has unequivocally stated that it does not support attacks targeting residential areas and non-military sites. This statement is being interpreted as a form of criticism directed at Iran.

During a press conference held in Beijing, Guo Jiakun, a spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that China does not condone the attacks being launched against Gulf nations and condemns any form of indiscriminate attacks on residential areas and non-military targets.

Meanwhile, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also remarked that the key to de-escalating the growing crisis involving Iran lies in halting the military operations being conducted by the United States and Israel. He asserted that the ongoing conflict against Iran lacks any legal basis, and prolonging it would only result in the needless loss of human lives. China emphasized the necessity of adopting a responsible stance in accordance with the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter.

In the meantime, the conflict in the region continues to intensify. According to Iran’s state-run broadcaster, IRIB, Iran has launched its heaviest and most intense missile attack to date against Israel. However, Israel’s air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed numerous missiles while they were still in mid-air.

According to a maritime security agency, a cargo vessel in the Strait of Hormuz was struck by an unidentified projectile, igniting a fire on board and forcing the crew to abandon the ship. Separately, a container ship off the coast of the United Arab Emirates also came under attack, although all crew members are reported to be safe.

Amidst these developments, reports have emerged of multiple explosions occurring in Doha, the capital of Qatar. Concurrently, Israel has carried out airstrikes against Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, and its southern cities; these strikes are reported to have specifically targeted positions belonging to the Iran-backed organization, Hezbollah. According to Lebanese officials, approximately 760,000 people have been forced to flee their homes since the onset of this conflict.

Meanwhile, the U.S. military has claimed to have destroyed 16 Iranian mine-laying boats near the Strait of Hormuz. This action followed a warning issued by U.S. President Donald Trump, who stated that there would be severe consequences if Iran attempted to lay mines in this vital maritime route.
